Damage excess coverage can be purchased from Ilulissat Car Rental at a fixed daily price and reduces your excess to 2.500 DKK, so you can drive with peace of mind on the roads of Ilulissat town.

Prices

The damage excess coverage is taken out per rental day and added on top of the base price. It limits your liability to 2.500 DKK for Type A, B and C, and covers the UTV separately.

What does the insurance cover?

Damage excess coverage from Ilulissat Car Rental reduces your liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. Detailed terms are provided at booking.

  • Damage to bodywork, windows and lights
  • Damage to the undercarriage during normal driving
  • Theft and attempted theft
  • Glass and tyre damage when driving on public roads

What is not covered?

  • Driving outside marked roads (off-road)
  • Damage caused by gross negligence or drink-driving
  • Damage to the interior (smoking, animals etc.) — see Terms & fees
